Accidents and emergencies can happen at any time, and often occur where there is no immediate help. FEMA has a program called “You are the Help Until Help Arrives,” to help you respond appropriately in emergent situations. Many parts of the country offers the You are the Help training. If they don’t, today’s post identifies the five simple steps that can save a life and where you can learn more.

• Provide Comfort
