A neighbor has a stack of neatly balanced rocks
by his driveway and I’m enthralled with it. So on one of my walks, I spent some
time finding rocks and trying to balance them. It’s actually easier than you
think and completely absorbing.
There are no gimmicks, wires, glues, rings or
other supports in stacking stones. Rather it’s about finding the balance and
making use of the contours of the stone. It does require some patience, but
it’s such a soothing activity and requires your full attention.
