In the Sept.
28 edition of the Journal of the American Heart Association, research is
presented that indicates that meditation may have a role in reducing heart
disease. Dozens of studies show that meditation improves an array of conditions
connected to heart disease- stress, anxiety, depression, poor sleep quality,
and high blood pressure. It may also help people stop smoking.
