Take a Break: Repurpose old nail polish

I don’t wear nail polish, but yet I seem to have a few bottles around. Could be from a Halloween project or something else. So what to do with it? For starters, think of nail polish as a hard-wearing paint and a topcoat varnish.

So quick projects can include:

• Color coded keys. For that matter, anything that could use some color coding, such as spoons, art brushes, pens, pencils etc.

• Painting stones-Have people find painted stones instead of those nasty plastic Easter eggs. See the marbelizing technique below.

• Decorate sunglasses or reading glasses that are in need of an upgrade

• Try marbelizing on paper, glassware, ceramics, plastic etc.
