Summer reading that sends chills up your spine
may just be the ticket for the late summer heat. However, it’s also the 200th
birthday of Mary Shelley’s Frankenstein
so if you’ve never read it-or seen the original movie-now’s the time.
NPR has assembled an all-star panel to pick out
100 of the best of the 7,000 entries people sent in as their favorite horror
story of all time. Do you have a favorite? If not, check out the NPR list as
just reading it will provide a tingle or two.
