With Valentine’s Day two days away, here are
some very inexpensive gifts and cards to make for Valentine’s Day.
Design
a Mug with Sharpies: Write or draw something on a light
colored mug (or other porcelain dish) with a Sharpie. Bake at 350 degrees for
30 minutes. Allow to cool completely before washing or using. These will need
to be cleaned by hand.
Send
E-cards: Below are free on-line e-card options-note
some include virtual flowers and chocolates
Flowers:
I learned this from a florist- It’s okay to use flowers from the grocery store,
Costco, Wal-Mart or even your local deli.
It’s what you do with them that counts. Arrange them in a nice vase or
other container. If you need some help arranging them, check out these links:
If you need to send flowers, you can save money
by calling a florist in the town where the person lives and discussing what’s
in season, best prices, designs etc. Be aware that if you Google a local
florist, the top sites may in fact not be local to the area you want. Get a
phone number and call.
