As we head into fall, take sometime to really enjoy the first light of the morning. Go outside, for as long as you can, and savor the light between 6:30 and 9 AM, which seems to have the most benefit. Don’t stare at the sun though, which is not only bad for your eyes, but it will make you squint. Because mood and facial muscles are linked, if you squint, it signals your brain that you are irritated. So wear some sunglasses and bask in the glow.
Great time to enjoy a “cuppa,” as the Brits say, of something soothing/enjoyable-tea, coffee, juice. Whatever strikes your fancy.
